Latrobe Fellowship
First Segment was from June 2003 through December 2003
Working through the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture, organized interviews with neuroscientists in the San Diego area.
Second Segment was January 2004 through June 2004
Included the development of a course for architecture students at the NewSchool of Architecture in San Diego and the conduct of a program at the Chicago Convention.
Third Segment was July 2004 through December 2004
Explored the Implementation of Ph.D. programs in architecture and neuroscience at five or six universities, including suggested research projects and financial support. Most of these are still in development stage in 2005.
Fourth Segment was January 2005 through June 2005
Produced a "white paper" regarding policy issues on neuroscience and architecture that the AIA should consider. It was delivered at the Las Vegas Convention in May, 2005. A copy is available on the website under publications.
